About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Gameplay Animation Programmer to join our team at Foundry 42 Ltd. UK. As a key member of our animation team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge animation systems that bring our games to life.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Animation System Development: Design, implement, and maintain well-engineered, reliable, and scalable animation systems that meet the high standards of our games.
  2. Collaboration and Mentoring: Work closely with animators, engineers, and other team members to develop and refine animation systems, and provide guidance and support to junior team members.
  3. Technical Leadership: Drive engineering principles and practices within the team, promoting innovation and excellence in animation technology.
  4. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot complex animation issues, and develop creative solutions to improve the overall quality of our games.
Requirements
  1. Programming Skills: Proficiency in C++ and experience with large-scale game engines.
  2. Animation Knowledge: Strong understanding of 3D math, animation principles, and procedural solutions.
  3. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.
