We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at Acorn Park School. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to our pupils with autism and complex needs.

About Us

Acorn Park School is a specialist school for 98 pupils with a primary diagnosis of Autism. We offer a unique and personalized approach to education, with a focus on developing the skills and abilities of each individual pupil.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and support pupils with autism and complex needs in a variety of settings, including the classroom and Forest School.
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the needs of each pupil.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the teaching team to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to education.
  • Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and policies.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience of working with pupils with autism and complex needs.
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills.
  • A passion for providing high-quality education and care to pupils with autism and complex needs.
