About Us

Acorn Park School is a specialist school for 98 pupils with a primary diagnosis of Autism. We offer a unique and personalized approach to education, with a focus on developing the skills and abilities of each individual pupil.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and support pupils with complex needs, using a range of strategies and techniques to promote learning and development.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the teaching team to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting the well-being and happiness of all pupils.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience of working with pupils with complex needs, particularly those with Autism.
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to the needs of individual pupils.
