We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at Acorn Park School. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and support to our pupils with complex needs.

Acorn Park School is a specialist school for 98 pupils with a primary diagnosis of Autism. We offer a unique and personalized approach to education, with a focus on developing the skills and abilities of each individual pupil.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans for each pupil
  • Provide high-quality teaching and support to pupils with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for each pupil
  • Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and policies

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience of working with pupils with Autism and complex needs
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
