Job Summary

University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced midwife to join our team as an Operational Coordinator. Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the midwifery team, providing guidance and support to staff, and ensuring the effective redeployment of staff to meet the needs of women and babies. This will involve working closely with the midwifery leadership team and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.

Person Specification

  • Registered midwife on the relevant part of the NMC Register
  • Diploma or degree in midwifery
  • Leadership experience/training
  • Management experience/training
