About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Physical Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Rehabilitation Therapist, you will provide physical therapy services to patients, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary treatment team to achieve patient goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy programs for patients, incorporating exercises, therapeutic modalities, and procedures.
- Direct and supervise patients in active, active-assisted, and passive exercises, muscle re-education, and functional training.
- Coordinate physical therapy activities with other team members to facilitate patient progress.
- Train medical and nursing personnel in physical therapy techniques and objectives.
- Supervise PTAs and Rehab Aides as required by PA practice act.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting medical necessity and functional abilities.
- Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and quality management standards.
- Participate in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops to enhance professional growth and development.
- Model Red Rules compliance, focusing on hand hygiene and patient identifiers.
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
- Less than 1 year of relevant experience required.
- Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets WellSpan Risk Management requirements.
