Physical Rehabilitation Therapist

WellSpan Health is seeking a skilled Physical Rehabilitation Therapist to provide physical therapy services at an entry to intermediate skills level to individual patients. As a member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will work collaboratively to facilitate achievement of goals established for each patient.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy programs for each patient, including exercises, therapeutic modalities, and procedures.
- Direct and supervise patients in active, active-assisted, and passive exercises, muscle re-education, and functional training using appropriate equipment as needed.
- Coordinate physical therapy activities with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care.
- Train medical and nursing personnel in physical therapy techniques and objectives.
- Supervise PTAs and Rehab Aides as required by PA practice act.
- Maintain accurate patient records with documentation to support medical necessity and functional abilities.
- Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and quality management standards.
- Participate in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops to enhance professional growth and development.
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
- Less than 1 year of relevant experience required.
- Licensed Physical Therapist and Basic Life Support certification required.
- Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets WellSpan Risk Management requirements.
