We are looking for a professional with expertise in VAT compliance, tax law, and accounting systems to operate and develop a full range of compliance service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review VAT returns, Intrastat returns, and MOSS returns.
  • Conduct partial exemption calculations and implement methods to ensure compliance.
  • Raise awareness and support on Making Tax Digital and HMRC's compliance requirements.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of VAT, including keeping up to date with legislation and developments in VAT law.
  • Foster good internal relations across services lines in Tax and legal Consultancy and Corporate Finance.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and VAT training to clients and non-tax specialists.

Requirements:

  • Experience in working with VAT accounting systems and extrapolating data for VAT returns.
  • Commercially aware and able to apply and communicate technical knowledge in a clear and commercial way.
  • Adaptable and flexible.
