Job Summary

The Director of Estates and Farm Agency will be responsible for leading our successful Estate and Farm Agency team in Lewes. This team specializes in selling and purchasing farmland in the region. The ideal candidate will be a self-starting, highly motivated individual seeking a challenging opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve personal financial targets and budget, maximizing gross profit

Ensure timely and high-quality advice and transactions to clients

Meet with clients to assess their needs and provide tailored solutions

Manage the team to ensure set objectives are met

Register and manage applicants

Conduct market appraisals and provide expert advice

Arrange and attend viewings of properties

Canvass for new business opportunities and develop relationships with clients

Explain building issues and regulations to clients

Respond to client queries via email and telephone

Liaise with solicitors to ensure smooth transactions

Close deals and ensure successful delivery of assignments

Represent the company as a high-profile ambassador in the area of expertise

Maintain external recognition and influence in the market

Participate in business planning activities to align with the company's aims

Accurately forecast fees for the office and assist in developing initiatives to improve revenue and profitability

Demonstrate an understanding of confidentiality issues and the use of discretion.

Requirements

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent as a minimum

Must hold a full, valid driving license

Excellent telephone manner and client-facing skills

Significant track record within the local residential sector with a broad cross-section of clients

Proven fee earner with a self-starting attitude and ability to work under pressure

Demonstrate a knowledge of the market and ability to provide expert advice.
