Your new company is a well-established professional services organisation with a strong presence in Ipswich.
Your new role involves working as part of a wider team in the Transactional Claims Team. The team provides transactional processing services for various divisions of the organisation, calculating and processing all types of contracts and claims. The team also provides processing support for the Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately calculate and process inwards transactional claims and contracts.
- Assist with queries from other teams in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with the team's internal customers via the appropriate method.
- Process requests for letter of credit creation, increases, withdrawals and cancellations.
- Provide process and claims support to other business units to improve efficiency.
- Good IT skills, particularly Excel.
- Good working knowledge of different classes of insurance and reinsurance business.
- Analytical ability.
- Ability to work effectively in a process-driven team environment.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Highly organised and professional approach to work.
- Comprehension of French, German, Spanish or Portuguese is desirable.
- A self-starter with the ability to meet and adapt to new challenges.
- A competitive salary of up to £32,000 (dependent on experience).
