Nuclear Commissioning Specialist

About the Role
This is a contract role for 12 months based at Sellafield, Cumbria. As a Commissioning Engineer - EC&I, you will be working on the Box Encapsulation Plant project, which is a critical component of Sellafield's 100-year clean-up programme.
Your Key Tasks Will Include:
- Vendor testing witnessing duties at works test sites.
- Developing plant commissioning test specifications for efficient system start-ups.
- Inspecting site installations to ensure smooth system handovers.
- Executing testing activities throughout the IPC commissioning phase.
- Identifying and resolving system faults effectively.
What You'll Need:
- Nuclear CE&I systems commissioning expertise.
- A relevant engineering qualification, such as HNC/HND or equivalent.
- Proven experience in nuclear commissioning projects.
- Strong project management skills, with preference for APM membership.
Salary Details: The estimated hourly rate for this role is £47.61, reflecting the complexity and importance of this project.
