Job Title: Head of Contracts

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Contracts to join our team at Leidos. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strong commercial and contractual programme leadership, managing a portfolio of strategic commercial activities, and supporting strategic commercial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial and contractual programme leadership to ensure successful delivery of projects
  • Manage a portfolio of strategic commercial activities, including contract negotiation and management
  • Support strategic commercial initiatives, including developing and implementing commercial strategies
  • Collaborate with Programme Director and Finance Director to ensure alignment of commercial and financial objectives
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with commercial and contractual requirements, including BPSS and SC HO clearance
  • Support the development and implementation of commercial and contractual policies and procedures
  • Provide training and guidance to contracts managers and other team members
  • Contribute to the development of the company's commercial and contractual strategy

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial and contractual programme leadership
  • Strong commercial and contractual skills, including contract negotiation and management
  • Ability to develop and implement commercial strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Clearance to Start BPSS and SC HO clearance
