Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Contracts and Commercial Operations to join our team at Leidos Innovations UK LTD. As a key member of our commercial operations team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and guidance on all aspects of contract management, including contract negotiation, administration, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial and contractual leadership to ensure the successful delivery of contracts and programs.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Lead and manage a team of contracts managers to ensure effective contract administration and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate commercial risks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in contract management and commercial operations, preferably in a defense or aerospace industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex commercial data and develop effective strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and regulatory requirements.
