Job Summary:

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to fill the role of Support Worker. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to young individuals with complex needs, helping them navigate their challenges and develop into adulthood.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to young individuals, fostering their development and well-being.
  • Assist with daily activities, such as horse riding, painting, driving, shopping, and virtual schooling.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of eight to ensure the needs of all individuals are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with young individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or teenagers.
  • A manual UK driving license and ability to travel to other sites/residences.
  • Flexibility to work on day/night rotas, including sleeping in.
  • Passion and dedication to youth development and a commitment to professional development.
