About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Pupil Referral Unit in Baldock. The successful candidate will have a degree or relevant experience/qualifications and strong communication skills with children, teachers, and parents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students with SEMH and EHCP's in a specialist setting
  • Liaise closely with the class teacher and guardians
  • Deal with pupils in a firm but fair manner
  • Support on a 1:1 basis and in small group settings

About the School

This is an inclusive and supportive specialist school for pupils with SEMH aged 11-16. The school focuses on supporting pupils with EHCP's and a diagnosis of ASD or SEMH.
