Water Resources Specialist

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Resources and Drought Consultant to join a specialist Water Consultancy team based in Bristol.
We are looking for a professional with a strong background in water supply, water resource assessments, water resource planning, and drought response plans. The ideal candidate will have experience in drought management and drought response plans, as well as a valid driving license to travel to sites and the office.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead water resource and drought planning, ensuring compliance with strategies.
- Develop and implement drought management and response plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of drought management strategies.
- Assess and monitor performance of water resource management plans.
- Lead the implementation of drought plans and monitor performance.
- Conduct audits and annual reviews of strategies.
- Ensure water resource planning aligns with catchment and water network strategies.
- Conduct water supply risk assessments.
- Develop relationships with stakeholders and external organizations.
- Produce bids, tenders, and compelling business cases.
- Conduct site visits across the local area.
