Job Overview

The Head of Regulatory Analysis will oversee operational HSE support within the Consulting, Construction and Development Sector at Mitie Group Plc. This role ensures compliance and safe delivery against agreed Divisional and Sector HSE objectives.

The Head of Regulatory Analysis will lead the CCD HSE Team, managing root cause analysis for incidents and non-conformances, tender support, and EcoOnline data management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an assurance programme alongside the HSE Director, focusing on regulatory compliance, sector risks and business expectations.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in HSE performance and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Assess and support on HSE resource allocation to optimise HSE performance and culture.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis following incidents and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), working in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain health and safety systems, ensuring the accurate and timely entry of all relevant data.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and patterns, informing the implementation of corrective and preventative measures to improve HSE performance and culture.
  • Drive performance management within the HSE team.

About You

You will have experience in a senior HSE position with a proven track record of delivery within the civil engineering or construction sector. A full UK driving license is required for this role.
