Job Title: Head of Regulation

ING is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Regulatory and Non-Financial Risk Management function within the UK Financial Markets Front Office. As Head of Regulation, you will be responsible for providing regulatory support, insights, and advice focused on the UK, with global alignment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Financial Markets business to provide regulatory support and advice.
  • Lead the UK Front Office Supervision & Conduct Risk Office and drive the UK implementation of FO control & conduct requirements within FM UK.
  • Interpret regulatory issues and develop solutions to protect ING, ING FM, and its business interests.
  • Maintain an interest in developing knowledge of non-financial risk management governance and processes.
  • Head up multiple regulatory initiatives and support management stakeholders.
  • Strengthen the FM control framework and act as a trusted advisor to the UK FM MT on Non-Financial Risk matters.
  • Ensure the FM business operates within an acceptable risk tolerance and adheres to regulatory parameters.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in Front-office Financial Markets and/or Regulatory Affairs/Advice and/or Compliance.
  • Strong background in Financial Markets.
  • Knowledge in the domain Compliance & Financial Markets (first and second line of defence).
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and accountable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and highly collaborative personality.
