We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Representative to join our team at Moody's Investors Service. Key Responsibilities- Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Sales Representatives to develop and execute strategic account plans and territories.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales professional for further development and closure.
- Develop and deploy targeted sales campaigns to expand Moody's presence and brand in specific markets.
- Conduct research to gather target account contact information and account intelligence to inform sales prospecting and marketing program strategies.
- Utilize CRM software to track and measure all sales activity.
- Proven experience in a sales/business development/account management role in a software or financial organization.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field (advantageous).
- Background in fixed-income credit or financial software (advantageous).
- Fluency in English and Dutch is essential.
- Excellent phone manner and objection handling skills.
- Clear written communication skills.
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on attention to detail.
- Motivated by goal attainment and performance measurement.
- Proficiency in Internet searches, MS Office, and CRM solutions (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Salesforce) (advantageous).
