The Role

In this leadership position at Rapid7, you will be responsible for driving the company's Marketing Operations, overseeing the marketing technology stack and developing data-driven insights to enhance marketing performance. To succeed in this role, you'll need a deep understanding of marketing automation and orchestration tools, data management, and process design/optimization. You'll partner with leaders in marketing, as well as our Go-to-Customer, finance, and IT/data teams, to drive transformation and impact, and contribute to the company's growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing marketing operations team, providing guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Define a vision and strategy for Marketing Operations, enabling data-driven decisions and effective marketing program execution.
  • Oversee the marketing operations roadmap, ensuring marketing technology meets the department's needs, and manage key technologies and processes, including marketing automation, ABM orchestration, and lead routing/lead quality management.
  • Establish a measurement approach and standards across the marketing function, defining marketing metrics and KPIs, and design and manage tracking, attribution, and reporting on all marketing activities to provide insights on the most effective channels and inform decisions.
  • Design and document marketing team processes, helping the team work more effectively and prioritize the highest-value tasks, and work with marketing leadership, Information Technology, and Revenue Operations to unify processes and systems at cross-functional intersects.
  • Advocate for and drive marketing transformation and modernization projects, from buy-in through implementation, and concept and steer education initiatives focused on marketing technology and data throughout the marketing organization.
