UK Planning & Scheduling Manager

At Wavin UK, an Orbia business, we are seeking a highly skilled UK Planning & Scheduling Manager to join our team in Chippenham, United Kingdom. This role is a key part of our production planning and scheduling process, ensuring the efficient management of our factory operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement short and long-term factory planning and scheduling strategies to optimize production and supply chain operations.
  • Collaborate with local customer service teams to ensure alignment with customer expectations and drive optimized cost.
  • Support the optimization of local factory supply chain to balance stock availability, cost, and inventory.
  • React to changes in demand or supply to minimize obsolescence and inventory while maximizing customer service.
  • Lead and implement projects for continuous improvement of factory planning performance.
Requirements:
  • Degree educated in a relevant business discipline (Logistics, MBA).
  • ~3 years' experience in production and material planning in big-scale production.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage, and complete projects under a deadline.
  • Tactical and operational planning knowledge and experience.
  • Systems knowledge and experience of SAP R/3 (MM and PP), APO SNP.
  • Knowledge and experience of reporting and analytics: SAP BW / BO, MS Office.
