UK Planning & Scheduling Manager

At Wavin UK, an Orbia business, we are seeking a highly skilled UK Planning & Scheduling Manager to join our team in Chippenham, United Kingdom. This role is responsible for short and long-term factory planning and scheduling in assigned production plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive short-term supplies, production scheduling, raw material, components, and subcontracting planning
  • Support the optimization of local factory supply chain to ensure balance between stock availability, cost, and inventory
  • Assure proper control of SAP master data
  • React to changes in demand or supply to minimize obsolescence and inventory while maximizing customer service
  • Lead and implement projects for continuous improvement of factory planning performance
Requirements:
  • Degree educated in a relevant business discipline (Logistics, MBA)
  • ~3 years' experience in production and material planning in big-scale production
  • Ability to prioritize, manage, and complete projects under a deadline
  • Tactical and operational planning knowledge and experience
  • Systems knowledge and experience of SAP R/3 (MM and PP), APO SNP
  • Knowledge and experience of reporting and analytics: SAP BW / BO, MS Office
