UK & Ireland Planning & Scheduling Manager

At Wavin UK, an Orbia business, we are seeking a highly skilled UK & Ireland Planning & Scheduling Manager to join our team in Chippenham, United Kingdom. This role is a key part of our commercial planning function, responsible for short and long-term factory planning and scheduling in assigned production plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term production plans to meet customer demand and optimize production efficiency.
  • Manage and coordinate with local customer service teams to ensure alignment with customer expectations and local production capabilities.
  • Drive the optimization of local factory supply chains to balance stock availability, cost, and inventory levels.
  • Lead and implement projects for continuous improvement of factory planning performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of production plans and schedules.
Requirements:
  • Degree educated in a relevant business discipline (Logistics, MBA) is desirable.
  • ~3 years' experience in production and material planning in big-scale production.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage, and complete projects under deadlines.
  • Tactical and operational planning knowledge and experience.
  • Systems knowledge and experience of SAP R/3 (MM and PP), APO SNP.
  • Knowledge and experience of reporting and analytics: SAP BW / BO, MS Office.
