We are seeking a skilled Payroll Clerk to support our finance team in delivering day-to-day payroll requirements. Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role will focus on managing payroll activities, preparing payroll changes files, and reviewing monthly payroll files provided by the payroll provider.

This is a part-time role, requiring 25 hours per week, spread across 5 days in the office. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and experience of processing payroll and working with an outsourced payroll provider.

The ideal candidate will be able to manage the payroll mailbox, prepare payroll changes files, review and process monthly payroll files, and manage the pension scheme. They will also be responsible for managing year-end payroll activities, such as P11D, PSA, P60, and managing salary sacrifice schemes.

We offer a competitive salary range of £30,000 - £35,000 pro-rata, flexible hours, duvets days, and a range of benefits, including health insurance, life cover, and a pension scheme.

  • Experience of processing payroll and working with an outsourced payroll provider
  • Good IT and system skills, especially Excel

Desired experience:

  • Experience of managing the payroll-related year-end activities, such as P11Ds, PSA, P60s
  • Experience using Netsuite or another ERP system
  • Familiar with payroll software
