CareTech Group is seeking a skilled Children's Home Registered Manager to lead our new children's home in Shrewsbury.

As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive care plans, building a great team, and fostering consultation with young people. You will also allocate key workers, maintain high standards, handle complaints and concerns, and collaborate with stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will need at least 2 years of experience in residential care of children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years. You will also need a Level 3 in Children's Residential Care and a Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or be enrolled on the Level 5 within 6 months of starting in post).

Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements. They will also be efficient in planning, organizing, budget control, resource allocation, and team leadership, with confidence in effective spoken and written communication.
