Cardiac Investigator Role
Spire Healthcare is seeking a skilled Cardiac Investigator to provide support to Cardiac Physiologists and Cardiologists in the delivery of their Cardiology service on a bank basis.
The successful candidate will perform basic cardiac investigations, assist with administration, stock control, and patient care within the cardiac catheter lab when required, and carry out general administration duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver and evaluate care to meet individual's health and well-being needs
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive, or contentious information
- Develop own knowledge and skills and those of others
- Promote best practice in health and safety and security
- Contribute to the Cardiology services
- Contribute to quality improvement
- Promote people's equality, diversity, and rights
- Apply technology for measurement, monitoring, and treatment
- Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI
Requirements:
- Previous experience of working in a clinical environment
- Experience of planning work and acting under own initiative
- Patient/customer-facing experience
- Experience of working as part of a team
