Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiographer to provide support to Cardiac Physiologists and Cardiologists in the delivery of our Cardiology service on a bank basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic cardiac investigations and assist with administration, stock control, and patient care within the cardiac catheter lab when required.
  • Carry out general administration duties and contribute to the Cardiology services.
  • Promote best practice in health and safety and security, and contribute to quality improvement.
  • Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in a clinical environment.
  • Experience of planning work and acting under own initiative.
  • Patient/customer facing experience.
  • Experience of working as part of a team.
