We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CBT Therapist to join our dynamic team of mental health professionals at a prestigious private mental health hospital. As a Specialist OCD CBT Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care for patients experiencing complex mental health challenges.

About the Role:

As a CBT Therapist, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team, which includes a Consultant, Occupational Therapist, Psychology Students, Music Therapists, Drama Therapists, Ward Manager, Charge Nurse, Nurses, and HCAs. You will report directly to the Lead Therapist and be responsible for delivering evidence-based treatments for OCD and related disorders.

Requirements:

  • Post Graduate qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Full accreditation with the BABCP
  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience
  • Experience working with adults who have OCD and related disorders
  • Training in additional modalities is desirable but not essential (e.g. in DBT, EMDR, CFT, ACT)
