Job Title: CAMHS CBT Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic CBT Therapist to join our CAMHS team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and a passion for working with children and young people.

About the Role

The CAMHS CBT Therapist will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, providing evidence-based CBT therapy, and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support children and young people with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and provide evidence-based CBT therapy to children and young people
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support children and young people with mental health needs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, young people, and their families
  • Participate in clinical supervision and contribute to the development of the team
Requirements
  • Postgraduate diploma in CBT or equivalent
  • Membership with a professional body (e.g. BABCP, BACP, HCPC)
  • Experience of working with children and young people with mental health needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
