About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team at Birmingham Conference & Events Centre. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for organizing and executing client meetings and events, ensuring a memorable experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and execute client meetings and events, ensuring a memorable experience for our clients.
  • Create bespoke quotes and respond to all inquiries from the M&E Sales Office Manager.
  • Deliver quotes and proposals to clients within brand-standard timeframes, complying with company policy.
  • Meet revenue and conversion targets, arranging site visits and delivering outstanding face-to-face appointments.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring repeat business and growth opportunities.
About You
  • Previous sales experience in a large hotel or conference venue, with a passion for sales and a strong desire to exceed.
  • Ability to deal with sales leads in a professional, organized, and timely manner.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident telephone manner.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt your approach to complete routine and non-routine tasks.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with great time management skills.
  • Great team working skills, with the ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team.
