Paid Work Placements for Individuals with Disabilities

Dumfries and Galloway Council is offering paid work placements for individuals with disabilities or long-term health issues. These placements are designed to provide valuable work experience and help individuals gain skills and confidence in a supportive environment.
Eligibility: To be eligible for this placement, you must have a disability or long-term health issue that affects your daily life and will last more than one year.
Placement Details: The placement is a six-month paid work placement with Dumfries and Galloway Council. You will work 30 hours per week and receive a rate of £12.56 per hour.
Benefits: This placement offers a unique opportunity to gain work experience, develop new skills, and build confidence in a supportive environment. You will also have access to training and development opportunities to help you progress in your career.

What to Expect: If you are successful in gaining a placement, you will be contacted by a named Key Worker who will guide you through the application process.
