Adult Healthcare Assistant Day

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive team providing high-quality care and education to children and young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist students with personal care, including toileting, changing, and feeding.
  • Medical Support: Monitor and attend to medical needs, such as tube feeding and medication administration.
  • Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and build positive relationships with students to foster a safe and happy learning environment.
  • Safeguarding: Ensure that safeguarding and health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
Requirements
  • Basic Knowledge: Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures is essential.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or healthcare setting is desirable.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or Teaching Support are preferred.
  • Opportunities: Opportunities for professional development and further training are available.

Payscale: £85-£95 per day. This salary range reflects the local cost of living and industry standards for this role in the UK.
