About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Senior Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the smooth running of our Pharmacy Homecare Service, working closely with the Pharmacy Technical Team to ensure the efficient processing and dispensing of Homecare drugs.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Processing and reconciling Homecare purchase orders
  • Receiving and dispensing Homecare drugs
  • Producing documentation related to Homecare deliveries
  • Supporting the Homecare team with query responses and supplier statements
  • Maintaining and updating Pharmacy Homecare service operating procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • An NVQ level 2 qualification in pharmacy services
  • Previous recent pharmacy experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A proactive approach to work and a willingness to embrace change
