About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Pharmacy Technical Team in the smooth running of the Pharmacy Homecare Service.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include processing and reconciling Homecare purchase orders, receiving and dispensing Homecare drugs, and producing documentation related to Homecare deliveries. You will also support the Homecare team with query responses, supplier statements, and debt monitoring.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold an NVQ level 2 qualification in pharmacy services and have previous recent pharmacy experience. You should be a competent and confident dispenser, with excellent communication and customer service skills. Further training will be provided to support your development in this role.

Working Arrangements

The Pharmacy Department offers a range of flexible working arrangements, including the possibility of occasional working from home once trained. Participation in late night, weekend, and Bank Holiday working arrangements is a requirement of this post.
