Café Kitchen Supervisor

Location: London, W12 7HB. Salary: £28,000 - £31,000. Contract: Full-time, Permanent. Working Hours: 45 hours per week, 5 days a week Monday - Sunday on a rota basis, shifts are scheduled between the hours of 7am -10pm (subject to change).
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Café Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Ichiba. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and excellent service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Culinary Leadership: Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality in our food offerings.
- Inventory Management: Control and manage inventory levels, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure efficient team performance.
- Food Safety and Hygiene: Implement and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, ensuring that our kitchen meets all relevant regulations and standards.
- Cost Control: Manage food costs and inventory levels to optimize resources and reduce waste.
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a senior kitchen role within a similar environment.
- Strong understanding of Japanese cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills with a focus on team development.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and manage time effectively.
- Outstanding communication skills for effective collaboration and team management.
