Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.

  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Director to develop and implement menu changes and promotions.

  • Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and control kitchen costs to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant or café kitchen, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Proven track record of leading a team to achieve high standards of food quality and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Please note that due to the nature of the industry, you will be required to work on a shift basis on a rota basis. We offer a range of benefits, including double pay for bank holidays, employee discount, paid training, and a birthday off with extra discount.
