Children's Services Social Worker
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Children's Services Social Worker to join our team in Grimsby. This permanent position offers a chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families.
About the Role:
As a Children's Services Social Worker, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, providing high-quality social work services to vulnerable children and families. You will undertake assessments, planning, and implementing social work plans to ensure children's welfare and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake comprehensive assessments to identify needs and develop effective social work plans
- Collaborate with families, carers, and other professionals to build resilience and reduce dependency on services
- Represent Children's Services in Family Courts and statutory panels as required
- Maintain accurate casework records and reports to meet government and statutory requirements
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England
- Strong knowledge of statutory legislation and experience working with children in need, protection cases, or family proceedings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice
