About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Authority Engineer to join our team at EDF Energy. As a Technical Authority Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering safety cases for the Hinkley Point C (HPC) project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver safety justifications for emergent transverse works issues at the HPC site.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the wider business to ensure effective communication and engagement.
  • Identify and resolve key issues while maintaining a strong technical stance in challenging environments.
  • Translate technical knowledge into clear, concise, and coherent information.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning and development.
  • Practitioner knowledge of ALARP principles and their application.
  • Working knowledge in developing nuclear safety cases, ideally with familiarity with the HPC Safety Case and UK EPR Design.
