About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Authority Lead to join our team at Hinkley Point C. As a key member of our Technical Authority team, you will play a central role in developing and delivering safety cases for the HPC project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead critical safety initiatives and provide strategic leadership to support project delivery within the Joint Design Office (JDO)
  • Manage the safety case while driving solutions to complex problems across various project areas
  • Lead the delivery of essential and impactful safety-related projects within the site

We are looking for someone with strong communication and presentation skills, enabling you to effectively engage with a variety of stakeholders across the wider business. You will demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning and development.

Requirements
  • Working knowledge and experience in developing nuclear safety cases
  • Familiarity with the HPC Safety Case and UK EPR Design
  • Practitioner knowledge of ALARP principles and their application
