The salary for this role is estimated at £27,799.00-£45,000.00 per year, reflecting the demands of the position in our location.
Job Description
As a Heavy Duty Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles, ensuring they are safe and operational. You will diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques, maintain accurate records of all work performed, and assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Vehicle Mechanic or similar role, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Ability to weld and fabricate components as necessary.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid driving licence is preferred.
