About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Planner to join our team at Russell Taylor Group Ltd. As a key member of our planning department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our high-end luxury apartment projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate construction schedules from target cost estimates and design work packs.
  • Utilize Primavera Planning software to manage and coordinate project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with our workflow process and collaborate with project managers to facilitate a seamless transition between design and construction phases.
  • Liaise with asset planners to integrate project resource requirements into asset schedules.
  • Integrate with estimating functions to gain a comprehensive understanding of schedule requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date project plans reflecting client priorities, incorporating changes, optimizing resource allocation, and identifying constraints.
  • Analyze project plans using critical path analysis and develop scenarios to present to the project management team.
  • Apply industry-standard reporting techniques for schedule and cost reporting (EVM, CPI, SPI).
  • Support improvement and benchmarking activities related to planning and cost control.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working for a main building contractor.
  • Familiarity with project planning processes.
  • Proficiency in the use of Primavera Planning Software (P6).
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Package).
  • ASTA knowledge and understanding.
