Job Title: CDM Principal Designer

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced CDM Principal Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing health and safety risks throughout the design phase of construction projects, fostering a culture of safety and collaboration among all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design Coordination: Lead and coordinate the design process, ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations and the Building Safety Act.
  2. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage health and safety risks throughout the design stages, providing solutions to mitigate these risks.
  3. Consultation and Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other design team members to create safe and effective designs.
  4. Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to design teams on CDM Regulations and best practices in health and safety.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including contractors and clients, to promote a culture of safety.
  6. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a CDM Principal Designer role or similar, with a proven track record of managing health and safety in construction projects.
