About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Outcomes First Group. As a key member of our specialist services, you will contribute to bespoke assessment and intervention plans for individuals with complex needs.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with adults and/or children who have intellectual disabilities and/or autism, with additional needs such as complex trauma, mental health needs, and behaviors of concern. You will be responsible for managing multi-disciplinary teams and working collaboratively with key partners to deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of our service users
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
  • Provide training and education to staff on therapy techniques and best practices
  • Collect and analyze data to inform service delivery and development

Requirements
  • Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification
  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience of working with adults and/or children who have an intellectual disability and/or autism with additional needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of key partners
  • Able to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict effectively
  • Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
  • Substantial and relevant post-qualification experience with adults
  • Experience of lecturing/teaching/training
  • Full valid UK driving licence and access to a car
