Youth and Family Liaison Worker

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Youth and Family Liaison Worker to join our Alternative Provision in Wigan. The successful candidate will work closely with the pastoral team to provide support and guidance to students, develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents and carers, and collaborate with teachers to deliver personalized learning plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and guidance to students with social, emotional and mental health needs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents and carers
- Collaborate with teachers to deliver personalized learning plans
- Assist with behavior management and conflict resolution
Requirements:
- Team Teaching Training or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months experience working in an Alternative Provision environment or extensive experience supporting SEMH students
- Excellent communication and behavior management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
