About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Social Care Professional to join our team as an Assessor and Trainer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment services to our learners in the Health and Social Care sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver structured support to learners on our apprenticeship programs, ensuring they receive the most effective and up-to-date approaches to prepare them for success in their Health and Social Care qualification.
  • Cover a regional area and travel to learners' workplaces for assessments, providing end-to-end support to ensure learners meet key skill requirements.
  • Complete Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and outline personalized learning pathways to meet learners' needs.
  • Reference and evaluate evidence collected in the workplace to meet key skill requirements, maintaining accurate records of learner attendance and guided contact hours.
  • Contribute to the planning, monitoring, and achievement of set performance targets, arranging additional training through day release and providing in-house training support as needed.
  • Keep detailed records of clients' achievements to meet the performance criteria established by relevant awarding bodies.
Requirements
  • Relevant training experience and teaching qualifications (e.g., A1 Assessor award).
  • Experience in an apprenticeship setting.
  • Proven occupational experience and technical competence in Health and Social Care delivery.
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company).
  • Welsh speaking is essential.
