About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Health and Social Care professional to join our team as an Assessor and Trainer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing end-to-end structured support to our apprenticeship learners on the Health and Social Care programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the highest training standards by adapting to learner needs.
  • Cover a regional area and travel to learners' workplaces for assessments.
  • Complete Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and outline personalised learning pathways.
  • Reference and evaluate evidence collected in the workplace to meet key skill requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and guided contact hours, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
  • Contribute to the planning, monitoring, and achievement of set performance targets.
  • Arrange additional training through day release and provide in-house training support as needed.
  • Keep detailed records of clients' achievements to meet the performance criteria established by relevant awarding bodies.
Requirements
  • Relevant training experience and teaching qualifications (e.g., A1 Assessor award).
  • Experience in an apprenticeship setting.
  • Proven occupational experience and technical competence in Health and Social Care delivery.
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company).
  • Welsh speaking is essential.
