Delivery Driver Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our logistics team in Preston, United Kingdom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to customers, maintaining excellent service and adherence to delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Goods Safely: Safely drive and deliver goods to customers across various locations, ensuring items are handled carefully.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods, adhering to company procedures and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Follow Delivery Routes: Follow delivery routes and time schedules accurately, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Maintain Vehicle: Maintain delivery vehicle in good working condition, adhering to company maintenance schedules.
  • Communicate with Customers: Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues, providing excellent customer service.
  • Complete Records: Complete delivery records and paperwork accurately, adhering to company procedures.
  • Adhere to Regulations: Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License: Hold a valid UK driver's license (Category B or higher).
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Communication Skills: Possess good communication and customer service abilities, with the ability to handle and lift heavy items.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
