Housekeeper - Weekends

We are seeking an energetic individual to join our Ancillary Staff Team as a Housekeeper for our residential care home in Stowmarket, Suffolk.

About the Role:
  • Clean resident rooms and common areas;
  • Assist in maintaining a hygienic, fresh, and tidy environment;
  • Liaise with the Senior Housekeeper on cleaning schedules and stock control;
  • Receive and collect items for laundering;
  • Fold items correctly and store them safely;
  • Maintain the laundry and linen stores in a clean and tidy condition;
  • Respond to spills and maintain records as required;
  • Participate in meetings and training activities;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your manager.
About You:
  • You should enjoy working with older people and have empathy;
  • At least 1 year of housekeeping experience is preferred, but full training is provided;
  • You should be able to operate cleaning equipment safely;
  • Ability to work as part of a team to provide excellent service;
  • You should be well-organised, practical, and adaptable.
Working Hours:

Alternate weekends, working Saturday and Sunday, with 16 hours per 4-week rota.
