About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team at Wood Care Group. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our care home, ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all areas of the care home, including bedrooms, communal spaces, and laundry facilities.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to provide a safe and supportive environment for residents.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the care home's policies and procedures.
  • Attend training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a care home or similar environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work flexibly, including shifts and weekends.
  • Committed to providing high-quality care and support to residents.
