Job Summary

As a Senior Mental Health Specialist at Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust, you will play a key role in providing highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy to patients and their carers. Your expertise will be invaluable in contributing to the effective management of patients by various teams and services.

**Key Responsibilities**
  1. Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy to patients and carers.
  2. Offer advice and consultation on clients' formulation and psychological management to non-psychologist colleagues.
  3. Contribute to the more effective management of patients by various teams and services.
  4. Clinically supervise and line manage trainee clinical psychologists, assistant psychologists, CAPs, and other less experienced psychology staff.
  5. Participate in audit, research, policy, and service development within the areas served by the Psychological Therapies Service.
  6. Develop and deliver training in psychological therapies for multidisciplinary staff.

Requirements
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced clinical psychologist to join our team. You will need to have a strong background in psychological assessment and therapy, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
